Event Details

  • Rocket League took the competitive gaming scene by storm last year when it released. Initially launching on PlayStation 4 and PC, the game later ported to Xbox One, Mac and Linux. To this day, about a year later, the game is still highly praised and receives frequent updates.Version 1.35 launched yesterday, celebrating a year of Rocket League. The update is large, containing a number of additions, including new crates, new customizations, and even Rick and Morty skins for cars. The full list, including changes and updates, can be found on Rocket Leagues official website https://www.lolga.com/rocket-league .

If you enjoyed Rocket League's first ever timed event that coincided with Halloween a few months ago, Haunted Hallows, don't miss their next event of a similar nature. Beginning Monday, players can take part in Frosty Fest, which will run from December 11th at 5pm PST until January 2nd at 1pm PST.

Just like Haunted Hallows, taking part in Frosty Fest will earn you limited time currency, this time called Snowflakes, which is earned for completing any and all types of online matches. You can cash in those Snowflakes during the event for themed items like snowy tree decals and peppermint tires as pictured below. Additionally, a limited time crate will be available and again the crate can be purchased with the timed currency or bought outright if you want to skip the line. The contents of the crates are still randomized, of course.
